Empowering women and girls changes the world. When girls access good quality education, sound nutrition and appropriately paid jobs; when women can decide if they want to have children and are supported into leadership roles – families, communities and whole countries benefit.
 
Investing in women and girls is one of the greatest investments we can make. Results have always known this and that’s why we place women and girls at the heart of our work.
 
For 35 years we have been advocating tirelessly for increased funding for child and maternal health, for childhood vaccines and for girls to access high quality education.

Our advocacy has secured millions of dollars for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria and the Global Partnership for Education. Both Gavi and the Global Fund have tailored programs to ensure girls are vaccinated and women and girls are protected from the devastating impacts of TB, HIV and malaria. The Global Partnership for Education ensures girls and other marginalised communities are able to access quality education.
