Our Board
Our Board is responsible for the governance and overall successful operation of Results. It is tasked with achieving the mission of Results, providing and implementing strategy, protecting reputation and values, and ensuring financial viability and compliance with contractual, statutory, and other legal obligations.

Chair - Heather Chai
Heather Chai is a strategic communications and social impact leader with over 15 years’ experience across diplomacy, international relations, sustainability, and human rights. A former Australian diplomat, she has represented Australia in Japan, Laos, and in United Nations fora, and has led high-impact public diplomacy and advocacy campaigns across the Indo-Pacific.
Heather brings cross-sector experience in government, higher education, and the not-for-profit sector, including holding leadership roles as Head of Communications for Asialink Business, the National Centre for Asia Capability, Director of the University of Sydney’s Modern Slavery Unit and Sustainability Manager at BaptistCare. She is a passionate advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and an accredited trainer in the SDG Impact Standards with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
With deep expertise in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability, Heather has a strong track record of building partnerships that advance systems change and sustainable development. Committed to grassroots advocacy, she is dedicated to strengthening Results International’s mission of empowering people to use their voices to end extreme poverty and drive lasting positive change.

Director & Deputy Chair - Rob Shwetz
With over 25 years of experience in marketing communications, sustainability management, and creative leadership, Rob has a proven track record of delivering results that align with the values and vision of purpose-driven organisations. Rob is also a trained B Consultant, certified by B Lab Australia and New Zealand, and a former partner and strategist at The Growth Activists, a consultancy that activates courageous organisations for a sustainable future.
His personal mission is to champion positive systemic change and provide a voice to those that are not empowered to speak for themselves. Rob has been a board director across various not-for-profits since 2018. He is Deputy Chair and board member of CELA, Child Early Learning Australia, and board member of Shaun Parker and Company. He has completed the AICD Company Directors course, Governance for Social Impact through the Centre of Social Impact, and GRI Standards. He has an MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, Steinbeis University.

Treasurer - John Laird
John is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) with 30 years' experience in corporate investigations and business compliance, regulation and strategy. John has extensive experience dealing with director compliance, risk and governance obligations having founded his own advisory business and as principal of a Sydney accounting and advisory practice. John also has public sector experience having formerly held a senior role at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission ASIC) where he provided strategic oversight and expertise in corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. John currently holds other risk and compliance advisor roles.
John has a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University and is also a Fellow of Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA).

Director - Joyce Sauk
Dr. Joyce Sauk (MBBS, MIPH) is a Papua New Guinean public health specialist, clinician, and global health advocate with over 15 years of experience across government, civil society, and private health systems in PNG and the Pacific. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Papua New Guinea and a Master of International Public Health (MIPH) from the University of New South Wales. She is the Founder and Technical Lead of the PNG TB Caucus, leading parliamentary engagement and advocacy to strengthen national responses to tuberculosis, HIV, and other diseases of poverty.
Dr. Sauk is completing her Scientia PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Systems at UNSW’s Kirby Institute, where her research focuses on strengthening health systems in low-income settings. She began her career with Hope Worldwide PNG (2007–2011) as a sexual and reproductive health doctor providing specialist care to high-risk and marginalised populations. She then served as a senior primary health physician and coordinator, overseeing service delivery across 25 health facilities with the National Capital District Health Authority (2012–2022), and more recently was the first Chief Medical Officer of City Pharmacy Limited PNG (2022–2025), where she oversaw nationwide primary health reforms and led the transformation of nurse stations into Wellness Clinics across the country. She has also consulted for DFAT, WHO, and Abt Associates on important bilateral health projects.
She also serves as President of the Diabetes Association of PNG and is a founding board member of Lighthouse Communi-Care Indigenous Corporation in Australia. Passionate about equity and sustainable development, she brings deep experience in health advocacy, systems reform, and evidence-based policy to Results Australia’s Board.

Director - Verity Cooper
Dr Verity Cooper is a South Australian General Practitioner with more than 35 years of experience in primary care. After completing medical training at the University of Adelaide, she worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and then in the United Kingdom in obstetrics, gynaecology, and anaesthetics before returning to Australia to begin her career in general practice.
For over three decades, Verity provided care to families and communities across Adelaide through Fountain Corner Family Practice. Alongside her clinical role, she developed a strong interest in sports medicine, contributing to the wellbeing of national and international sporting teams and major events. Her experience includes supporting the Matildas and Hockeyroos on overseas tournaments, serving as Deputy Medical Director of the World Police and Fire Games, and leading the medical team for the Australian delegation at international competitions. Many of these roles were voluntary, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community health.
Verity retired from clinical practice in 2022. In 2025, she stood as an Independent candidate for the federal electorate of Sturt, advocating for accessible healthcare, climate resilience, and stronger environmental protection.
She brings deep knowledge of healthcare systems, local governance, and community-led solutions to the Results Australia Board. Verity is passionate about advancing practical and evidence-informed approaches that improve health and wellbeing for communities everywhere.
Outside her professional work, Verity stays active through cycling, walking, swimming, dancing, and yoga. She is a regular volunteer with the Lions Bookmart and enjoys spending time with her three adult children, her friends, and her dog Stevie.

Director - Manasi Kogekar
Manasi is a senior leader with over 13 years' experience working in program management and fundraising roles within the higher education, social enterprise and not for profit sectors across the Asia-Pacific region. She has expertise in supporting organisations to build effective strategies, programs and partnerships to promote the voice, rights, and inclusion of women, children, youth, and people with disabilities. Manasi currently leads the Trusts and Foundations team at Macquarie University and is also a Co-Chair of the Board of Oaktree.

Director - Alexa Murray
Alexa is currently working as a Project Manager at the Burnet Institute, supporting the project implementation and management of vector-borne disease and tropical public health projects. She is an experienced international development professional having worked in North America, Australia, and the Asia-Pacific across a breadth of technical areas, primarily Tuberculosis, vector-borne diseases, and SRHR. She is committed to reducing inequities through advocacy and sustainable development.

Director - Annette Dal Pra
With over two decades of invaluable expertise across diverse industries including construction materials, media, FMCG, and Education, and a rich background in both private, ASX listed and multinational organisations, Annette brings exceptional proficiency in creating organisational value by leveraging human potential, technology, and data.
Her leadership in spearheading strategy, change, and digital transformation is founded in her commercial acumen and governance. Annette's passion for advocacy is evident in her commitment to fostering equity within society, notably through her efforts in educating women and youth in financial literacy. She actively mentors students and aspiring leaders, embodying her belief in empowering the next generation through education.
