351 for the Global Fund

Tuberculosis (TB), HIV/AIDS and malaria are some of the world's most deadly diseases, claiming millions of lives each year in lower-income countries throughout our region and the world.

TB, HIV and malaria are preventable and treatable, yet:

  • TB killed 1.3 million people in 2022;

  • A child dies from malaria every minute;

  • Every week, 4,000 adolescent girls and young women are infected with HIV

The Global Fund is a worldwide partnership to defeat HIV, TB and malaria and ensure a healthier, safer, more equitable future for all. The Global Fund raises and invests more than US$5 billion a year to fight the deadliest infectious diseases, challenge the injustice that fuels them, and strengthen health systems and pandemic preparedness in more than 100 of the hardest hit countries.

Results has been a leading player in the Global Fund's triennial replenishment events. Supported by our national network of volunteer advocates, and aligned civil society partners domestically and globally, we work to raise the awareness of the burden of TB in the Indo-Pacific region and encourage Australia to contribute its fair share to the Global Fund.

To this end, Results has launched our ‘351 for the Global Fund’ campaign for the Global Fund's 2025 replenishment event. Over the coming months our advocates and passionate staff will be spearheading advocacy for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. We will be highlighting the impact of The Global Fund, meeting with MPs, injecting our voices into the media, and so much more.
