RESULTS Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, Negaya Chorley who commences in her role on 6 April 2020.
Chair, Chris Franks, announced the appointment of Negaya Chorley saying “After a comprehensive and competitive recruitment process, the RESULTS Board is pleased to appoint Negaya to the role. We are delighted to welcome Negaya and we look forward to working with her and introducing her to our Partners and Stakeholders in the near future.”
Negaya brings 20 years of human rights, advocacy and campaigning experience to RESULTS, most recently from roles as Director Advocacy & Communications at Caritas and prior to that at UNICEF Australia. Negaya is passionate about creating spaces for people at the margins to inform policymaking at the local, national and global level.
Negaya said, “I am delighted to step into the CEO role at RESULTS and welcome the opportunity to lead the impressive team of staff and volunteers. As a passionate believer in values-based leadership, I work hard to carve out and create environments within which staff and colleagues can thrive.”
The Board wishes to thank Amelia Christie for her significant contribution to RESULTS in a comparatively short period, building a skilled and diverse team who have achieved major wins in the past two years. Amelia returns to the UK to rejoin her family and will continue to provide input as a Consultant for an extended period.
RESULTS Staff and Volunteers work to inform policy and mobilise resources to fight diseases of poverty and achieve equitable access to health for millions of people living in poverty.
