September 25 2015 will be a momentous date. Every world leader under the United Nations banner will adopt 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

The goals aim to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice and tackle climate change by 2030.

The Millennium Development Goals set out in 2000 have got us halfway there- we need to finish the job now.

We can do this by making the Global Goals famous and ensuring that Australia is fully committed to them.

Each year, 1.5 million people still die from tuberculosis. Each day, 16,000 children are still dying from causes that are mostly preventable. 800 million people are still under-nourished and 58 million children are still not in school.

Be educated on the Global Goals, so we can hold our leaders accountable for making a better world by 2030.
