63rd United Nations’ DPI/NGO Conference
The 63rd United Nations’ DPI/NGO Conference on global health was held in Melbourne in August, 2010 – the largest of its kind ever to be held in Australia.
At the Conference, RESULTS hosted a groundbreaking workshop on the issues surrounding the diagnosis and treatment of women who suffer from tuberculosis and TB/HIV entitled:
Slipping through the Cracks: Women and Infectious Diseases (TB & TB/HIV)

The workshop raised greater public, political and NGO awareness of the issue at a critical time towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals, set to be achieved by 2015.
