Michelle is RESULTS Global Health Campaign Manager for tuberculosis and other diseases. She also convenes the Secretariat of the Australian TB Caucus and, in 2016, will help lead RESULTS’ advocacy for Australia’s replenishment commitment to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.
Michelle has a broad range of experience in the international development sector, encompassing domestic volunteering, in-country work, research, as an NGO Board member, a grant-maker to grass-roots organisations and in consultancy.
Before she began working in international development, Michelle spent several years in the university sector as a researcher in both gender and international public health. She holds a Masters and PhD in public health, both from the University of Sydney.
Michelle enjoys the energy and enthusiasm that come from working with passionate people and believes that ‘we go further when we go together’. She looks forward to being part of creating positive change in the global TB landscape by helping ensure Australia’s political and financial commitments.
